I hope the start to your 2024 is going wonderfully! One thing that happened to me a couple days ago is that I jammed my finger playing ultimate football (similar to ultimate Frisbee).
When I hurt it, I could only bend it and straighten it about 50% of normal. Less than 24 hours later it was back to 95%. I was back on my yoga mat doing planks and pushups in less than 48 hours.
I realized there was one key thing I was doing to help facilitate the healing process and a perfect case study of the power of a massage stick and self-massage. So I made a video that I'm excited to share with you.

In the video I show you how to use a massage stick to help heal the injury. I’ve been using these sticks for years to help with sprains and strains. They are also wonderful for TMJ and jaw clenching. They do wonders to help ward off headaches when you press points in your hand or the back of your head. I also love using it for pain in my hands and forearms and stiffness in my neck. Of course I use them as well when massaging clients and loved ones.
They only cost a few bucks, so I tend to keep one within reach at all times… in my car, in my bag, at my desk and near my bed. I also give them away to people I care about.
